Some insurance plans are starting to cover the glasses portion of myopia management, but it varies by carrier and plan. HSA and FSA funds can be used. Our staff checks what your plan may cover and goes over it with you before you decide.
Until eye growth stabilizes and the prescription stays the same a few years in a row — usually in the mid-to-late teens. A child who starts at 7 may wear them for 7–10 years; a child who starts at 11, about 4–6 years.
